Westminster Homecare is committed to the safety and well being of its service users. This document is brief guide for safeguarding yourself from the possibility of Financial or Material Abuse, along with points of contact for support and advice.

How to Safeguard Yourself

Do keep a count of your money

Do Not give your bank details to anyone

Do Not give out your PIN number

Do Not give anyone loans or gifts

Do Not discuss your finances

v  Consultation on finances must be held in private

v  If you require support with your shopping, please contact your local Westminster Homecare office

v  Be aware of the dangers of cold calling, scam mail or mis-selling
