Stowupland Falcons Under 11’s
A very entertaining, crazy & enjoyable game was had by Westminster Homecare’s sponsored Stowupland Falcons. In windy conditions TEN goals were equally shared between Stowupland & Kirton, neither team deserved to lose so a 5-5 draw was a fair result, but the result was only half of the story. Within the first 15mins Stowupland could and maybe should have scored 3 or 4 goals but somehow found themselves 1-0 down with Kirtons first attempt on goal. Then 2 goals by Daniel saw Stowupland go in at half time 2-1 up. The second half then produced a thoroughly entertaining goal fest; Kirton scored 3 goals to make it 4-2, then Stowupland fought back with goals from Jahjah and Jack to make it all even again. Two more goals were then shared to make the score 5-5, but in the final few minutes Harvey hit the post, Ruben almost scored and the keeper saved shots from Jack, Daniel & Jahjah but neither team deserved to lose so a 5-5 draw was a fair result.
