Westminster Homecare – Three Peaks Challenge
“On Friday 13th July, 16 members of the Westminster Homecare Team took on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge to raise money for The Care Workers Charity.
This event was organised by the UKHCA //www.ukhca.co.uk/ and had care companies from all over the country taking part
It consisted of 24 miles walking including 3 Peaks – heights being 694 metres, 736 metres & 723 metres – all to be completed within 12 hours
It was an incredibly hard challenge but the whole team were inspiring and took it on doing their best through terrible rain.
We are extremely proud to announce that we have raised £3,142!!
The Care Workers Charity is a wonderful charity that offers support and financial aid to care workers when they are in need.
Care workers do an amazing job and they need looking after too!
